PRESIDENT of Coningsby and Tattershall WI, Janet Harrison, congratulated fellow members on their efforts at the Coningsby Show.
They won the scarecrow competition, had a successful outside garden stall and looked after the refreshments. She also asked for programme planning ideas to be brought along to the October meeting.
For the 90th anniversary fundraising there was a quiz from Jean Edwards, cards for sale from the Craft Club, Connie Stennett's whist drive on October 11, and a member brought along fresh veg to sell.
Members then enjoyed an excellent talk from Rodney Cousins, with a talk entitled Dutch Links.
The branch meets each second Thursday in Coningsby Community Hall at 7pm.
