Lessons on war at Caistor
History teacher Marcus Croft said: “Andrew Spooner brings the First World War to life, helping students to see the experiences of the soldiers and the tragedies that unfolded over the course of the war in a way that textbooks can never hope to achieve.”
Mr Spooner took along more than a thousand objects, covering food, battles, surgery and surveillance and the students had the opportunity of handling some of the artefacts and get up close to the impact of the war.
