'Olympian' readers strike gold for effort

CHILDREN who took part in a reading initiative run by libraries in the area have been given awards for their efforts.
They were all taking part in the Team Read Summer Reading Challenge.

It was linked to the Olympics and children taking part needed to read six books to complete the project.

Presentation ceremonies have been held at libraries in Coningsby and Tattershall, Woodhall Spa and Horncastle where certificates and medals were handed out to mark the children's achievements.
