WRAGBY Primary School's new head teacher, Kate Hodson, has said she is absolutely loving her new job.
Mrs Hodson said she has settled in well since she took over from Roger Holbrook at the beginning of the September term.

Mrs Hodson is the first female head teacher at the school since it was built in 1968.

Children used to attend the national school next to the church before it was built.

Mrs Hodson has moved from Kirton Primary School where she was the deputy head teacher for seven years.

"Everyone has been really friendly and welcoming so far," she said.

Mrs Hodson has already started to plan some curriculum weeks, to focus on particular subjects.

Two coffee mornings have been organised at the school to give parents the opportunity to meet the new head teacher. The first will be on September 30 at 8.45am and the second on October 1 at 2.45pm – both in the school hall.
