Olympic-themed fun for youngsters

CHILDREN enjoyed a range of Olympic inspired activities at Woodhall Spa and Coningsby and Tattershall libraries last week with community engagement officers, Sue Hewitt-Dutton and Bridgett Scott.
Word searches and quizzes with an Olympics theme proved engrossing and the youngsters enjoyed learning facts (especially the gory ones!) about the ancient games. The story of Brer Rabbit's Tug of War amused everyone and at the craft table children made door hangers featuring sports players.

There was time at the end of the session to borrow books and sign up for the Library Summer Reading Challenge - Team Reads.
