HORNCASTLE and District Photographic Society were entertained with a recorded lecture by Irene P Froy entitled Chasing the Light at its August 19 meeting.
Irene talked about light and its many variations, not just the time of day which gives the different angles, but the time of year which affects the colours and the quality.

Accompanying illustrations were all taken in Southern France with many shots being repeated in different light as the photos (all straight slides) were taken over several holidays in both spring and autumn.

Future Events: September 9: Print Talk by Peter Yeo. September 16: John Brumby presents a talk entitled Changing Seasons.
