A TOWN after-school centre has been given a new image with a logo designed by a Horncastle Primary School pupil.
Horncastle Hobbits, situated on the site of Horncastle Primary School, held a competition for youngsters to design the logo.

The group, which is a charity, is run by a committee of parents who raise funds to keep the service going and provide low cost after-school care for children.

Six-year-old Marcus James won the competition with his clever design, which has been placed on t-shirts for staff to wear.

He was invited to a presentation at the centre's open day to see his design on the finished products.

Committee member Jo Schofield said: "His design was chosen because it was the most impressive and was easy to reproduce."
