MEMBERS of wind farm opposition group BWAG were left annoyed after their protest signs were vandalised.
According to police, seven signs were damaged and an additional three were stolen on Tuesday September 16, in the Baumber area.

BWAG chairman, Melvin Grosvenor, said: "We are disappointed that the people who have done this appear not to have attended any of the presentations to find out about our campaign and engage with us, but have chosen to result in acts of vandalism and criminal behaviour."

He added: "This will in no way deter us from presenting our well researched and constructive campaign."

BWAG has two presentations coming up this week. The first one will be at Horsington Village Hall on Thursday October 9, at 6pm with speakers at 7.30pm.

There will be another at Baumber Village Hall on October 23, at 4pm with speakers at 7.30pm.
