A BUSINESS plan has been revealed by a group trying to save Horncastle Town Hall.
The Horncastle Town Hall Working Group has put together a plan to retain and refurbish the ailing building.

The 13-page glossy ring-bound document details just how the group would go about transforming the 107-year-old building into a 'multi-use centre for all age groups'. The draft – which will be finalised for October 23 – was presented to the Horncastle Steering Group, which is overseeing the decision on the building's future.

The steering group, which is made up of elected members from the county, district and town councils, announced this week it is aiming to cut down the nine options currently open to the town hall by the end of October.

The Steering Group are inviting users of the town hall to a meeting on Tuesday, October 28, at 6.30pm, in the building itself.

A market stall manned by members of the Steering Group will be held on October 4 in Horncastle market.

Limited copies of the draft business plan are available to read from the town library and from working group members.
