Lorry tips over and blocks A158

AN articulated lorry carrying plastics for recycling overturned and partially blocked the A158 at 7am this morning, Wednesday.
Its driver, a 46-year-old man, escaped with minor bruising when the accident happened near Hagworthingham and Sausthorpe.

Police said damage was caused to the hedgerow, a sign and wheat crop.

The road will have to be closed at some point today for the lorry and its load to be recovered.
