TREES could soon be appearing across Woodhall Spa, with a little help from villagers.
As part of National Tree Planting Week in November, the Woodhall Spa Tree Group is hoping to hold a tree planting day.

Trees will be planted in various sites, including Royal Square near the Dambusters' Memorial, in Viking Way, and on highway verges in places where trees have been lost.

All you need to get involved is a spade.

Crowder's Garden Centre has set up a Tree Bank so that customers can donate to purchase saplings for the event. Donations can also be made at Janet's Tea Shop, in Woodhall.

* Tree Planting Day will be Saturday, November 29.

* Details: Tim on 01526 353138, Daphne on 01526 354385 or Pat on 01526 352382.
