The fun then went into the night with local woman Glenda Fern organising an evening of entertainment.
From the £1,200 that was raised, the golf duo brought in £478 and Glenda’s evening event raised £758.
Poppy Appeal organiser Mark Reddin said: “I would just like to say a big thank you to Pete and Alan for again agreeing to do the golf challenge for us, and to Glenda for all the hard work and effort she put in to organise the event in the evening, which was very well attend.
