New website launched to support communities through Covid-19 pandemic

Lincolnshire Together has been created by the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership, the Lincolnshire Resilience Forum and Business Lincolnshire. It aims to support organisations in the health and care, education and voluntary sectors by connecting them with the business community in Greater Lincolnshire. Businesses can post offers of support on the site and the coordinating local authorities and community organisations such as schools, charities and care homes can post requests for help. Support is being offered in areas such as vehicles, hygiene, equipment, PPE, technology and professional services such as accountancy, leadership, HR, marketing, legal. The website is not intended for private businesses to ask for support or advice. Those businesses should visit the Business Lincolnshire Growth Hub website. Ruth Carver, Chief Executive of the Greater Lincolnshire LEP, said: “As Lincolnshire responds to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are connecting businesses who can help with other organisations and communities who need support because of COVID-19. “For charities, community groups and health and education organisations it’s a one-stop shop where you can ask for help. For businesses it’s an opportunity to tell these organisations what support you can offer. “The Lincolnshire Together website will also publish good news stories about businesses in our region which have responded to the coronavirus in some way, such as supporting the national efforts in terms of PPE or by donating food or storage. “If your business fits these criteria and you’re happy to share your story, please get in touch.” Lincolnshire Together covers the administrative county of Lincolnshire only.
