Thugs sentenced for assault on taxi driver
Nathan McEvoy, 21, from Dinnington was sentenced to five months in prison at Worksop Magistrates’ Court on Monday for his role in the unprovoked two-on-one attack in December of last year.
His accomplice Michael Robinson, 23, also from Dinnington, was handed a four-month prison sentence suspended for 12 months and ordered to complete 150 hours of unpaid work in the community for his part in the act.

Hide AdDistrict Judge Diane Baker said: “This was an assault on a public servant in the early hours of the morning, while you were in drink.”
“It’s had a psychological effect on him and the way he does his job.”
