Warning of strong winds for Lincolnshire mid-week
The Met Office has issued a ‘yellow - be aware - alert’ of wind for the whole of the county on Wednesday and Thursday.
Such an alert is currently in place for Scotland, parts of Northern Ireland, North East and North West England, as well as the Yorkshire and Humber area.

A Met Office spokesman said: “Wind gusts of 50-60mph are likely quite widely through the warning area, whilst gusts of 75mph are likely around southern and western coasts and over exposed hills.
“The public should be aware of the risk of localised disruption to transport and possibly power supplies.”
