Worksop: College students to help put final touches to new bus station
The teenagers have been working with Notts County Council to create a number of pieces of artwork to adorn the glazing at the £3.2m facility.
Several different designs have been submitted and the chosen ones have been turned into stickers which will be placed on windows and doors at the new building.

“Our architect Robert Parry and project manager Paul Horn visited the college on several occasions to talk through the designs with the students,” said Mike Barnett, of the county council’s major projects team.
“We’ve been very impressed by the high standard and some of the designs are now being installed on internal walls at the bus station, as well as some of the windows.”
The final pieces of work will be installed on Friday when county council chairman, Coun Sybil Fielding, will visit the bus station to meet the students and congratulate them on their work.

Hide AdWork began last autumn on the new bus station -- at the junction of Newcastle Street and Watson Road – and it is on schedule to open later this month.
The new station uses design elements used at other NCC bus stations such as those at Retford, Newark and Mansfield and will feature a staffed information point, toilets, seating, electronic information screens and CCTV.
Eight bus bays will be provided to cater not only for existing demand in the town but also allow for future growth.
