Young wildlife fans have a buzzy time
Members of Coningsby Wildlife Watch met at New York for a bees and beekeeping day with watch leader Roger Parsons.
The weather was warm and the bees were well behaved as members, together with parents, put on bee suits to have look in one of Roger’s hives.
Fred Parker, an expert beekeeper and chairman of Horncastle Beekeepers, showed them the bees and explained what goes on inside a hive.
