SUNDAY saw top motorcycle trial riders from the East Midlands compete in the John Bull Team Trial hosted by Horncastle's Banovallum Motorcycle Club at Withcall near Louth.
On the expert route the trial was won by Daniel Greatorix of Matlock, second came Banovallum rider Joe Bristow from Aby.

The middle route was won by Adam Shepherd a North Lincs rider followed very closely by Belchford rider Adam Frith.

The riders pitted their skills against the 12 observed sections over 4 laps.

Banovallum MCC emerged victorious on both championship routes when all the team's riders' penalty points were added together.

In second place were the Grantham Pegasus MCC with Peterborough MCC in third.

* The winning Banovallum MCC teams were: Expert route - Joe Bristow, Roman Kyrnyckyi and Darren Cox. Middle route- Adam Frith, Matt Mison, Andy Frith and Jim Brean.
