AFTER a midweek defeat to the hands of Louth Old Boys, going down by 3 goals to 0, Town youngsters got back to winning ways on Sunday afternoon when they beat Retford 8-1.
Town dominated from the very first minute and were soon 1-0 up with Ashly Bullivant scoring a well taken goal.

Ben Clarke got Town's second scoring from 12 yards out and Town's third came from a Ben Fidling corner after going in off a Retford defender.

At half time, the score was 3-0 to Horncastle.

This was Town's best performance of the season by far and Ashly got his second and Town's fourth five minutes into the second half.

Retford got a consolation with 20 minutes left, then it was all Town with Ben scoring his second and Town's fifth.

Ashly got his hat-trick on 70 minutes and then Ben Clarke completed his hat -trick with the goal of the game scoring from 18 yards out.

Jake Johnson had time to get the eighth goal.

Men of the match were Daniel Hall, Jake Johnson and Will Stacey.
