WOODHALL Spa continued their unbeaten run with a 2-1 win against a strong Billinghay team.
It was 0–0 at half-time with Matt Shepherd having had a goal disallowed for off-side.

Billinghay were also unlucky not to have scored being beaten only by Woodhall's consistently reliable goalie Jack Walters.

They also missed an open opportunity to head the ball in from a good corner cross just before half-time.

Things livened up early in the second half when a superb pass from Tom Dixon found Matt Shepherd who passed it perfectly to Ryan Parnell to head home.

The second Woodhall Spa goal was also a header this time from Adam 'Superman' Rigarlsford, who judging by his celebration has been watching too much Match of the Day. Billinghay refused to give up and were rewarded by a goal late in the game.

Woodhall Spa head to Horncastle at the weekend who will be looking for revenge for their cup defeat at the start of the season.
