WOODHALL Wanderers travelled to Skegness and came home with a win to take the league championship.
Skegness won the toss and elected to bat.
Opening bowlers Connor Parsons and John Temperton bowled economically to restrict the scoring.
Off spinner Rob Bee took the first wicket with a fine catch from Danny Scarbro.
Woodhall then took wickets quite regularly to restrict Skegness to 143 for nine from their 40 overs.
Rob Bee, John Temperton, Steve Scott and Charles Wright took two wickets a piece.
Woodhall's reply started badly with Jack Hughes caught behind for 0.
Scott and Dan Evison steadied the ship with a partnership of 97 before Evison was caught for a well made 43.
Bee soon followed leaving Woodhall on 101 for three.
Henry Spurner blasted a huge six to put the Wanderers close to victory.
Scott was then caught for a brilliant 61.
Woodhall lost two more wickets but Danny Scarbro saw them home with 10 not out, this gave the visitors victory by three wickets and 18 points.
News filtered through that Friskney beat Tetford by just one run, handing Woodhall their second title success in three years.
This has been a fantastic achievement for a young Woodhall side.
Captain Rob Bee would like to thanks all his players for such an outstanding season.
