PROMS in the Park took place on the Village Green on September 7 in sunshine with blue skies overhead.
Music was provided by the Banovallum Brass Band and Clifford Andrew and his organ.
The audience sang and clapped to the music while enjoying their picnics.
At 2.45pm a Spitfire from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight gave a superb display in the capable hands of Sqn Ldr Ian Smith.
The afternoon came to an end all too soon with the audience joining in to sing Jerusalem and Land of Hope and Glory.
The organisers were grateful to the Lives First Responders for their presence.
Many people commented on the lovely setting with St Helen's church as the back-drop and agreed they want to do it all again next year.
Many thanks to everyone who supported and helped the event.
HARVEST – A harvest festival takes place in St Helen's Church on Sunday September 21 at 10.45am with Mareham le Fen Silver Band providing the music for the Harvest Hymms. All welcome.
